Easy Cream Cheese Danish



 

2 large cans of crescent rolls
1 teaspoon vanilla 
2 8oz. packages of cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar, divided 
1 egg, separated 

Preheat over to 350. Spray 9x13 pan with Pam. Unfold one can of crescent rolls. Layer the rectangle of dough in the pan.(DO NOT separate into individual rolls) Combine cream cheese, egg yolk, vanilla and 3/4 cup sugar. Spread over first layer. Cover mixture with second layer of crescent rolls. Beat egg whites until frothy; spread over top layer. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup sugar. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
